UK award-winning jazz saxophonist Nubya Garcia is back with her second single, the title track of her upcoming debut album Source; a particularly dubby, 12 minutes long song, featuring Ms Maurice, Cassie Kinoshi, Richie Seivwright. Percussive elements like rim-shots, and off-beat piano chords hit, whilst delayed drums echo and bass notes boom, shaking the foundations. 'Source' sees soulful, group vocals sing without words, whilst Nubya's tenor sax take the place of a lead vocalist, dancing vibrantly around the polyrhythms. 'Source' is a fantastically dubbed-out tune, that sees jazz and dub combine for a spectacular, piece of music that'll have you fully absorbed.
